| A
standard Trial Instructional Flight (referred to as a TIF) in a microlight
consists of a twenty minute flight around the local area, the aim
of which is to familiarise the student with the handling and safety
aspects of microlight flying. Your instructor will offer you the opportunity
to take the controls after demonstrating the basic skills.
Your flight will take place at the Airfield
at Gawler, and will be in one of the latest Airborne Edge Trikes.
These Trikes have been fully certified by CASA and meet all the
saftey requirements to conduct pilot training.
Some people take a Trial Flight to see if this is a sport that
they could take part in, and others simply for the thrill of having
flown in one.
So no matter what your reasons for wanting a Trial Flight, Please
contact us and let us help organise that next step.
The Next Step
To many, a trial instructional flight is their first step
towards gaining their Pilot Certificate (license) and opening up
a whole new lifestyle of flying adventures and regular flying with
fellow pilots and friends. To others the trial flight is a once
off experience, a taste of something a little different and another
activity to tick off the must do list. Either way the flight is
structured to give the participant both a unique one off experience
and a sound base upon which to build further flying lessons. Having
enjoyed your first flight and wishing to continue please ask your
instructor for a handout about the next step.
