Aircraft Safety Criteria PDF Print E-mail

As you commence lessons your first major goal is to go solo. To achieve this you need to satisfy your instructor on a practical sense that you can fly and land the aircraft on your own in varying weather conditions. You will also need to pass the pre-solo written exam. Immediately after this exciting achievement you will need to have an aircraft of your own to fly, as then a minimum of 5 hours flying solo is required, under your instructors supervision, before you qualify to be issued with a pilot's license.

Safety for people's health and well being is the most important ingredient taught and practised at Gawler Microlights. This is followed very closely by the safety and care of equipment and the hunger to have fun!
